There are lots and lots of Italian sauces and pestos out there today! They are tasty, convenient and time-saving. And they all seem to be the same! The flavors just don’t have that gusto. We offer sauces and pestos with authentic, fresh taste, the kind of pesto you get at the finest restaurants. Our search for the best took us far and wide; we tried so much great pesto that we went far and got very wide!

Black Olive Pate, Gria

Perfect for pasta, our Gria signature pesto can also be used as seasoning in soups, grilled chicken, and a variety of fish. Black olive has a strong, salty flavor and aroma.

Pesto Genovese, Gria

For centuries, Ligurian sailors in the spice trade would get their fill of exotic food and return anxiously to the flavors of their homeland, which centered on fresh vegetables and greens from the hillside. From those beginnings, pesto became renown for its simple intensity. Genovese style is the most traditional pesto, as it contains basil, basil and more basil! This infusion, which includes Champignon mushrooms for a more complex flavor, has all the versatility of fresh or dried porcini mushrooms – and you may even like the taste better! Try this pesto on pasta and crostini. Liven up your risotto with a shot of pesto! Or, top or stuff chicken breasts with a dab of pesto. Pesto is so easy to use and the taste is exquisite. Red Pepper Pesto, Minasso

This one is red, but the foundation ingredients are the same as those in every quality Gria pesto: basil, extra virgin olive oil, sea salt, parmesan cheese, pine nut and garlic. The red pepper gives this pesto a slightly sharper and more piquant flavor.

Sundried Tomato Pesto, Gria

For those who love the sharp/mellow flavor combination in sundried tomatoes. This pesto is fantastic stuffed inside chicken! It’s interesting how sundried tomatoes have become so much more popular in the States in recent years! In the old days, tomatoes were preserved so that the family would have some during the winter.
