Cinquina of Abruzzo uses only the finest capers and caper berries from Italy. Their salted capers are just right in sauces and over salads. The briny taste also goes well with seafood, meats and chicken. Salted capers, are best used when soaked for 15 to 20 minutes and then soaked again for the best caper flavor. These little beauties are actually flower buds from a shrub-like plant that grows all over Italy but is most flavorful in the South.
