Pecorino Fonduta

COOKING TIME: 10 minutes


  • 1 pound of grated Soft Pecorino Cheese
  • 1/4 cup of shredded fresh Basil
  • 3/4 cup of white wine
  • 2 tablespoon of Garlic Olive Oil
  • Isola Crouton Sticks (for dipping)

Preparation Instructions

  1. In a heavy saucepan combine the garlic olive oil and wine, then bring it to a boil on medium-high heat.
  2. Reduce to medium- low heat and add half of the grated cheese continuously stirring until melted before added the other half and stir.
  3. Add the shredded pieces of basil and mix well before pouring into a warm fonduta pot.
  4. Enjoy!
